P7 Farewell Assembly: What a Special Day we had today, celebrating the Primary Seven Farewell Assembly with family and staff. All guests were treated to a wonderful display of memories, song, and music followed by Mackles Ice Cream Tea and Refreshments. The Primary Seven Children were also presented with their Record of Achievement and Final End of School Certificate to mark their seven years at Primary School by Mr Brian Rafferty, Chairman of our Board of Governors. They also received a very special Personalised Leavers Pack. Many thanks to all our staff for their efforts in making today a special occasion for every child. Particular thanks to Mrs Gollogly, Kathleen and James for their fantastic preparation of all the children. The day ended with our traditional P7 Video which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We wish the class of 2026 many happy years as they begin the next chapter in their educational journey.

A special presentation was also made to our colleague Mr James Hughes who is leaving us after three years. We thank James for all his work with the children and wish him all the luck in the world in his new post.

Special presentations were also made to Mrs Elaine Christy and Ms Aisling Murphy in recognition of their work on our Parent’s Committee over these past seven years. Their support was invaluable.

A final presentation was also made to Mrs Aine O’Connor from St Patrick’s High School in thanks for her support to all of our children over many years.
