We continued our Anti Bullying theme today with some special messages from Primary 3. They told us about the trusted adults in their lives and the words that we should use to make others feel good. As part of Anti Bullying Week Primary 4 hosted an assembly today and gave us 5 Tips to deal with bullying type behaviours. The children delivered their messages excellently. Many thanks to Mr Woods and Pauline for preparing the children.

Congratulations to the boys and girls who were awarded certificates for Term 1A. Certificates are awarded for Consistent Effort, Excellent Behaviour, Excellent Homework, Handwriting, Writing Wizard and Number Kid. Outstanding results!!

Maths Week: As part of celebrating Maths Week the Pupil Leadership Team hosted Wear a Number, Pattern or Shape Day. All children and staff wore a number, pattern or shape as an item of clothing and everyone donated to our bucket collection in Aid of the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland . A total of £

Our Eco Committee have been very busy this week maintaining our vegetable planters and other areas around the school. Earlier in the year they planted onions and scallops with the help of Sean and Maura and this week the added Garlic. They are being ably lead by our parent eco committee member Mr Ro

Congratulations to our Eco Committee who presented an assembly this week to Mark Recycling Week.. The boys and girls delivered very important messages as to why we should recycle. Well done to them all and thanks to Mrs Warner for leading and assisting the children in their preparations.

As part of our PDMU Curriculum P4/5 have been enjoying learning all about The Heart with a focus on Keeping our Heart Healthy. This programme is delivered by Burns Skills School Ltd as part of their overall Curriculum Support Package. The children look forward to Aaron’s lessons each week.
