Primary 6 were delighted to receive our Almac Pod from Patricia McKee as part of Almas School STEAM Initiative. The children look forward to completing the project over the coming weeks. Thank you Patricia.

We were delighted to welcome the School Fire Safety Officer to school to give a Fire Safety Talk to P5. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.

Primary 3 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Armagh Museum for a workshop on Toys. They have been studying Toys as part of their World Around Us Topic this term.

Congratulations to our top runners at our recent Cross Country Sessions. Fantastic achievement. Well done.

Congratulations to our girls camogie and boys hurling teams who played in the Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Competition recently. Special congratulations to our girls who have qualified for the All County Final. Many thanks to Mrs Gollogly and Mr Woods for coaching and mentoring both teams.

Derrynoose Has Got Talent – We all enjoyed the Derrynoose Has Got Talent Final today. We were treated to a wonderful display of talent including singing, dance and music. The show was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Congratulations to Mary Rose our P4/5 Winner and Sophia our P6/7 Winner.

Many thanks to Canon Crawley for celebrating Mass for us all today. The Mass was thoroughly enjoyed by all our children and staff. Canon also congratulated Mr Woods on his Armagh Hurling All Star (fantastic Mr Woods!) and joined us in wishing Lauren, a very special Happy Birthday.
